IMPORTANCIA

Alberga una gran diversidad de especies, Proporciona un recurso hídrico para la región y desempeña un papel esencial en el equilibrio del agua, siendo fundamental para la actividad agrícola, el abastecimiento de las poblaciones y el desarrollo industrial. El lago Junín tiene varias razones para ser considerado importante ya que sostiene una biodiversidad excepcional y ecosistemas característicos de la región ha sido reconocido un humedal de importancia internacional, especialmente por ser un importante hábitat de aves acuáticas
