Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
is a divisive film. It's better and worse than Jurassic
World; it's a film that pursues originality, but repeats old patterns; it's spontaneous, at
times, and terribly predictable at others.
Between the risky creative proposal of the film and its most unwise moments, we can say
that this is the beginning of the end of a saga that, from trying so hard to survive, is rushing
towards its own extinction. Begins three years after the destruction of the new Jurassic Park
on Nublar Island. At the site of the old park, we see a group of mercenaries trying to
recover a DNA sample from the fearsome Indominus Rex we met in the previous
installment, the production of this film could have captivated more with its beginning.
At the same time, Claire, the former general manager of the park, played by Bryce Dallas
Howard, has become a former animal rights activist. And, among all this, the volcano that
rests in the center of Isla Nublar is about to explode, causing a second mass extinction of
dinosaurs.
Finally, the U.S. Congress decides to let the dinosaurs go extinct for a second time,
following the advice of the famous but still eccentric Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). Of
course, Malcolm talks about the dangers of the misuse of genetic experiments, and the risk
of spreading extinct species in a modern world. He also, as always, manages to be quite
eloquent.
Claire, in desperation, tries to save the dinosaurs without the help of government
intervention. And that's when Lockwood Industries appears, a company that grew up
alongside InGen (the genetics company we've seen throughout the saga). Led by John

Hammond's close friend and co-worker, Sir Benjamin Lockwood, Lockwood Industries. Plans to save the integrity of genetic modification technology companies. She is my favorite character was the hero in this chaotic story full of adventure, science and above all courage for wanting to save the highest percentage of dinosaurs. The problem with this film, compared to the previous examples, is that J.A. We know that Bayonne has a wide spectrum of genres in its experience, going from the gothic horror of The Orphanage to the allegorical family fantasy of A Monster Calls, and the catastrophic action drama of The Impossible. But that makes Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom so strange, so hybrid, and at times so uncomfortable that it confuses before it starts to convince. Awards:
