Roger Button rushes to the hospital to see his baby.
Dr. Keene says he's very curious. The nurses were upset when they saw the baby, but Roger still had hopes of sending his
daughter to his old collAge one day. The Button family doctor talks angrily to Roger.
Dr. Keene doesn't want to help the Button family anymore. The nurses show Roger over an old man sitting on a cat. Roger
learns that the old man is his little son. They shaved his beard and dyed his hair.
Benjamin finds being a child is hard because he looks and feel so old. He has to buy special clothes for his son.
People in Baltimore talk about Benjamin for months. Everybody thinks that it`s unusual case. He often looked puzzled and
sometimes smoked his father’s cigars.
At eighteen Benjamin tries to enter Yale collage. Mr. Mart the registrar, doesn’t want a fifty-year-old student at Yale. Later, he
passed the exam to enter yale, and went to see the register.
At twenty years old, Benjamín begins to work for his father.
They took Benjamin out of his cot and gave him fancy clothes to wear.
Benjamin watches Hildegarde gets out of her carriage.
Benjamin falls in love with Hildegarde Moncrief. Surprisingly, Hildegarde likes older men more than younger ones.
Mr. Moncrief was worried about the future of his daughter.
Finally, Hildegarde accepts Benjamin. He never met a girl as pretty as Hildegarde who loved him, but they soon became
engaged.
