The Creator of Hangeul, Sejong the Great Sejong the Great, the creator of Hangeul, was the fourth king of the Joseon dynasty. He created Hangeul for the people of Joseon, made metal type, and also wrote many books. He strengthened the nation and expanded the territory, he developed a tool used for astronomical observation, and arranged music. Sejong the Great is highly respected by Koreans. 한글을 만든 세종대왕 한글을 만든 세종대왕은 조선시대 제 4 대 임금입니다. 세종대왕은 백성들을 위해 한글을 만들었고, 금속 활자를 만들어 많은 책을 남겼습니다. 국력을 키워 영토를 넓혔고, 천문 관측을 위한 과학기구를 만들고, 음악을 정리하였습니다. 한국인은 세종대왕을 매우 존경합니다.
