"University of the Philippines gets into international rankings mainly because of its strength: research and development. While it is true that teaching quality in this university, in my own opinion, is far greater than the teaching styles of my former professors during high school, the academic load could be so demanding that life outside university is not that vibrant. There are several organizations here, though to compensate for that. Also, although lots of job fairs and other career opportunities events are conducted, graduating from this university does not guarantee employment due to tight competition between job seekers."
