1. WHAT MAKES THE STUDY OF HUMANITIES IMPORTANT?
To study humanities is to study beauty. Studying humanities is a huge matter,
significance, beneficial. It is because we learn Humanities that help us understand others
through their languages, histories and cultures and how to make a work of art. Humanities
teach empathy. They educate us to think critically and rationally when confronted with
subjective, complicated, and flawed data. It educates us about ourselves and others. It aids us
in achieving harmony as person. It teaches us to make connections between beautiful things. It
enables us to discover joy in life, to rise beyond the mundane routine of daily living, and to
elevate our ideas, feelings, and spirits.
2. HOW DO YOU DEFINE ART?
Basically, art is expressing your idea, belief or something that gives significant to your
life. The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual
form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty
or emotional power. For me, Art is everywhere. What we see, it’s an art it is because God
Created all this. Human is an art, then Human expression, ideas and experiences is an art, it is
because we create a different ideas based on our Imagination and creative skills like, Singing,
Dancing, Drawing and Painting. I myself, I am not comfortable to tell or share on what I’m going
through except if you are really my trustworthy friend. Based on my experiences, I express
myself in writing a poem or song than to tell others. Art is you, make your life beautiful, unique
and worthy in the eyes of God.
3. AS A STUDENT, HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT ART IS VALUABLE?
Art is beneficial to learning in particular. We will be able to study the artists who make
great masterpieces all across the world. There is a secret tale in the artworks done by notable
individuals. Each person has their own perception of the art shown by each other. What is the
story behind? As a student, the arts subject allows us to express ourselves more freely, which
boosts our confidence. Our imagination and creativity will strive to produce works of art that
you can say “I made it/this!” since the art is created by your own.
