Q3 The following is an Access Database exercise. Ensure that, upon creating the database initially, you save it onto your floppy disk. Call the database Zipadee Doo Dah Takeaway Food Company. Marks will be lost if you have not saved correctly, as instructed, or if nothing shows up on your diskette.

Zipadee Doo Dah Takeaway Food Company, established in 1999, supplies high-quality takeaway dishes to homes all over Cork.. Eight items of information are held on each order received. Walt Preston, manager of the business, wishes to transfer these order details to a computer database file;

The information held on each order is as follows;

  • Customer – Customer’s Name
  • Address – Customer’s Address
  • Time – Time of Order
  • Distance – distance in miles from shop
  • Dish – Name of dish
  • Size – large (L), medium (M) or small (S)
  • Price – the Price of the dish ordered
  • Delivery – whether or not the dish was delivered (Y or N)

Set up a database table on your computer, holding the details on the ten customers listed below. You can use the italicized words given above as field names but you must decide on the relevant data type for each field.
