Interviews will be conducted with students, faculty, and administrative staff to gather insights into their needs and preferences.Reviewing existing attendance tracking procedures and related documents.Observing current attendance tracking processes to identify inefficiencies.Surveying stakeholders to gather feedback on their experiences and requirements. STEP 4. Evaluate Feasibility For us, as 2nd-year students, assessing feasibility means figuring out if moving to a QR code-based attendance system is doable. Here's how we'll tackle it: We'll look at how easy it is for everyone to use this new system. Does it fit into our daily routines? Is it user-friendly for both students and teachers? We'll also see how well it fits with our current processes. We’ll check if we have the tech we need for this system. Is it compatible with what we already have? Do we need new devices or software? We'll also think about any technical challenges we might face. We'll take a look at the money side of things. How much will it cost to set up this system?Can we afford to develop and maintain the system? We want to make sure it's worth the investment. Time is precious, especially for us students. We'll see if we can get this system up and running within a reasonable timeframe. How much time will it take for development, testing, and training? We'll make sure it fits with our academic schedule.

5. Estimate Project Development Time and Cost We will create a detailed plan for gathering information necessary for estimating project development time and cost. We will define the scope of the survey, identify participants, and allocate time for survey preparation, distribution, and analysis. We will consider the time required for participants to complete the survey and the time needed for data tabulation. Once we have gathered the necessary information, we will develop a cost estimation plan that includes analyzing Information: We will allocate resources and time for analyzing the information gathered from interviews, surveys, and documentation review. This will involve identifying cost factors such as

system development, training, and maintenance. Lastly we will estimate the time and resources required to prepare a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations.

6. Present Results and Recommendations to Management Introduction: Overview of the preliminary investigation objectives and process. Systems Request Summary: Summary of the need for transitioning to a QR code- based attendance tracking system. Findings: Key findings from fact-finding activities, including interviews, surveys, and documentation review. Recommendations: Recommendations for implementing the QR code-based system, including project roles, time and cost estimates, and expected benefits. Project Roles: Defined roles and responsibilities for project execution. Time & Cost Estimates: Estimation of project development time and cost. Expected Benefits: Outline the anticipated benefits of transitioning to the new system.By outlining these anticipated benefits, we provide a clear rationale for transitioning to the new system and demonstrate the potential value it brings to the educational institution. Appendix: Additional supporting information, such as interview transcripts and survey results.
