My name is Cameron Ortiz-Cinanni and I am a fourth year student at Laurentian University studying the
Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration. I am writing to you to formally apply for a
summer internship position with the Barrie Colts. Sports has always been part of my day-to-day life and I
am excited to bring this passion into my work life. I am a professional, reliable person who is ready for
any new challenge sent my way. I am looking to grow my business skills and gain experience in the
working sports world. I believe gaining experience with the Barrie Colts will be a great stepping stone for
future endeavours.
I am currently employed at Zehrs in Barrie and have been working there for the past six years, while
attending high school and university. I believe I am a great asset and my longevity in this position speaks
to my dedication and commitment. I can bring this enthusiasm and energy into my day-to-day life and
will add excitement to the Barrie Colts. I am a fast learner, a go-getter and confident in my decision
making. I bring a positive attitude, highly skilled problem solving and a lot of passion for hockey.
I believe I would be a perfect fit for a summer internship as Barrie is my home town. I am, as previously
mentioned, a big fan of sports, always have been. Whether I am participating in ball hockey, ice hockey,
organizing fantasy leagues or volunteering at sporting events, I am thrilled to partake in any sporting
event. I believe I would be a tremendous asset to the Barrie Colts franchise in any capacity.
