(WELCOME REMARKS)

JENILYN: Thank you so much for your welcoming words, Jovie. And to explain further the central idea of today’s event, let’s all welcome one of our grade 12 HUMSS student, MISS KAREN P. BERNARDO for the statement of purpose. (Let’s give her a round of applause) (STATEMENT OF PURPOSE) HOMER: Thank you, Karen. And now, let us all welcome here on stage, our ever-beautiful principal, MA’AM MA. TERESA RUZ-ESTRIBA , for her message. (MESSAGE) HOMER: Thank you, ma’am for your words of wisdom shared with us and to our seniors. At this juncture, may we call, MISS ANDREA G. CANGREJO , Grade 11 HUMSS student for the introduction of our Guest of Honor. (INTRODUCTION OF GUEST OF HONOR) (INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE FROM THE GUEST OF HONOR) JENILYN: Thank you very much ma’am for your inspiring message to all attendees today. May your words of wisdom be our moving spirit as we enjoy tonight’s event. By the way partner, what do you think is the essence of this event? HOMER: Well, in my own angle of vision, every Prom signifies the celebration of awards and achievements of our senior students (Grade12) and these legacies should be handed over to the deserving and trustworthy inheritors… who else? Our Grade 11 SHS learners. JENILYN: That is true partner, tonight, we will witness the seniors as they pass on and entrust to their junior counterparts’ things that hold great significance and symbolisms. We will hear them speak a brief message to one another and witness their talents together. HOMER: And now, one of the highlights of this event is about to unfold. Selected students from Grade 12 and Grade 11 levels will be presenting a choreographed dance that they have practiced to perfection. Folks, a huge warm applause to the COTILLION DE HONOR. (COTILLION DE HONOR) JENILYN: Thank you, Cotillion de honor dancers for your awe-inspiring performance. You guys almost moved heaven and earth in dancing! That gracefulness in social dances is probably included in the roster of specific legacies of the Grade 12 class to be ceded to the Grade 11. HOMER: I agree, ma’am. At this point, we will now be having our exchanging of candles and token of appreciation for our Grade 12 and Grade 11 learners. Such ceremony symbolizes the hand-over of the candles to the next bearers so as to lead and guide our school and its stakeholders in reaching their dreams and aspirations. JENILYN: The flame atop of every paraffin elucidates the road to success of outgoing Grade 12 learners in the next chapter of their academic career here in school. In return, the grade 11 students will hand over tokens of appreciation for our grade 12 students which shows gratitude and thanksgiving for everything they’ve done bringing the name of the school on top. (EXCHANGING OF CANDLES & TOKENS OF APPRECIATION) HOMER: And now, let us all ears to VINZ TROY P. ORIJOLA , Grade 12 HUMSS student, as he will take us to the scene which will really bring us back to fond memories of their high school days… their batch history. (BATCH HISTORY) HOMER: Thank you so much Troy. And now, let us all welcome our Grade 11 students as they will showcase to us their rendition of the song, PHOTOGRAPH. (CHORUS: PROTOGRAPH)

HOMER: It is believed that during this dance, a fine gentlemancan now shoe their affection to one of our beatiful ladies. Kaya guys, kung may crush kayo at natotorpe kayong aminin, ito na ang perfect timing, sunduin mo na at yayain nyu na siyang sumayaw! JENILYN: That is right partner! At sa may mga nililigawan po diyan, sulitin nyu na ang moment na ito at mag-gain ng points sa mga nililigawan niyo. HOMER: Sa mga in a relationship na! Feel free to use the dance floor and be romantically sweet to each other. JENILYN: Sa mga single po diyan, wag mag-alala, you are still free to dance with your friends and enjoy the sweet music. And if you want to gain new friends, ask them to dance with you! wWag mahihiya, basta please… remember to act and keep this event formal and decent. HOMER: At dahil jan…. maestro… play the sweet music! PRESENTATION OF NOMINEES FOR DIFFERENT AWARDS AWARDING PARTY… PARTY HOME SWEET HOME JENILYN: This has been MRS, JENILYN E.PENUELA. HOMER: I am JOHN HOMER F. BACEA. Thank you very much and may everyone enjoy the rest of the evening
