External Criticism
Produced by Icelle Gloria D. Borja, Raiders of the Sulu Sea despite the following
contributors: Dr. Samuel Tan, Margarita Cojuangco, and other International Asian
Historians. The chancellor as the head Icelle Borja of the Mindanao Association of
Museums, had been an executive council member of the National Commission for
Culture and the Arts in the Philippines . She was a authentic Filipina painter and
sculptor, one of Zamboanga City’s most prominent outstanding artists. She has done
extensive detailed studies on Zamboanga’s arts and culture. Films directed by her
comprise Mirrors of Our Past: The Liberation of Zamboanga and Our Heroes Parts 1
and 2, Trees and Tell, Dia de Zamboanga, Flores de Mayo, A Great Malayan, and a
couple of more among her films . "A History of the Philippines" was authored by Dr.
Samuel Tan, whilst "Kris of Valor" was written by journalist and philanthropist
Margarita Cojuangco. The documentary video was produced by Idzwan Othman.
Since it was a legitimate film with content that was utilized in textbooks and history
books, I would argue that it was an authentic endeavor and not fraudulent. Since it
didn't exist at the time the incidents happened, it qualifies as a secondary source.
Though the ordered sequence that occurred is rather deceitful, everything turns out
successful in the final moments. By virtue of the narrator's accent, the story is quite
indistinguishable or ambigious but it was ultimately informative and captivating. It
was intended for viewing by audiences who speak English language well-versed
and9fluently.
Internal Criticism
The film's fundamental9objective is to educate and empower, thus it is immensely
well constructed. The notion that our fellow Filipinos attacked us constitutes one of
the primary focal points of contention in the movie. These raiders' sole purpose for
launching a battle is to secure the safety of Islam's colonies and is to incite to fight
for their own privileges and freedom. The historical record of this is substantially
distinct from anything we read in history books or hear from our teachers in school ;
thus, the documentary was excellent in this respect and a positive aspect9that the
documentary dealt with this issue9in depth because we are constantly reminded that
invaders are perpetually deemed "foreign people." The documentary additionally
portrayed the manner characterized by Muslims manifest in the minds’ situation
consciousness amid to the terrorist bombardment of Balangingi, kick off to
empathize with despondency where began to germinate. The documentary offered
some insight into the daily life and traditions of the raiders through exhibiting
evidence from an archaeological dig in Butuan.

A Legacy of Heroes: The Story of Bataan and Corregidor External Criticism In the film A Legacy of Heroes: The Story of Bataan and Corregidor was directed in coordination between the Department of National Defense of the Philippines and the Philippines Veterans Affairs Office produced. These have been verified to be credible and authentic; the storyline is told without bias in the narration primarily because they are Philippine government agencies. I would speculate that the documentary's narration is impartial, that every individual has an imperfections in the narrative as a whole, and that the pattern of incidents is systematic organized and the causal relationship of what happened in the plot is accentuated. Presented that it wasn't generated in the stipulated period of time, this is a secondary source. It is not the greatest preferences for people who are incapable to comprehend the story line because it is chronicled in medium English. Internal Criticism The documentary is enormously lengthy, but that facilitates logical considering the extent to which relating to what transpired after Bataan and Corregidor succumbed is revealed. The Japanese Empire inflicted severe suffering and physical torture on Americans and Filipinos. For the purpose of the film, interviews were conducted with everyone who witnessed the tragedy directly. It also proves that everything was grounded in realism and founded on facts. The aim of the film is to serve as a reminder to Filipinos of the heroism, bravery and sacrifices made by those who served their nation during an atrocious and abhorrent voyage that inevitably resulted in tragedy.
