DEFINITION 1
Poverty, the lack of basic everyday n eeds, so what do we lack?
Generosity and Liberality, thats what .Why is it easy to throw away
a cent, but difficult to give one? Diffic ult to give food to the needy,
but easy to throw it away? How can w e put money in a cash
register and not a donation box? We a re so careless worrying
about unnecessary things, that we f orget what is occurring around
us today. Poverty isnt something tha t will just go away, its
growing rapidly and fast!

In life there comes a point where we feel that Life just isnt for us
and tell ourselves its hard. But what is our hard compared to
theirs? You think getting out of bed is hard? You know whats hard?
Concrete. The hard concrete they slept on wishing they had a bed.
If going to school is difficult, think about not going to school at all
and not having the right to learn any thing at all. If getting out of
bed is hard, imagine going sleep at nig ht not sure if youll even
wake up the next morning.

Its truly shocking how much this World can produce but how
so little it can give.The world can produce 1 times enough
food to feed everyone on the planet. Thats enough to feed 10
billion people, yet over 3 Billion are left to suffer and die.

DEFINITION 4
There are two types of poverty, abso lute poverty and relative
poverty, these two things both lack n eeds but in a slightly
different way. Absolute poverty is the lack of everyday needs such
as food, clothing and shelter. On the other hand relative poverty
conditions lead to disadvantages throu gh unemployment, low
income, poor health care coverage and lack of education. There is
a difference between a child left to s uffer for days and a child
going to school with no lunch.

More than 300,000 children in New Zealand are living in
relative poverty, these kids live in benefit dependent
families. This is because the lack of employment in families
and struggling in job searching.
