Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (2 years) - Diagnoses and manages oral diseases and disorders (x-rays, imaging techniques). Endodontics ( 2-3 years ) - diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and injuries of dental pulp and surrounding tissues ; root canals. Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (2-3 years) - Diagnoses, intercepts, and corrects dental and facial irregularities. Pediatric Dentistry (2-3 years) - Diagnoses and treats oral health care needs of infants and children through adolescence. Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology ( 3 years ) - research, identification, and diagnosis of diseases of the mouth, teeth, and surrounding regions. Periodontics (3 years) - Diagnoses and treats diseases of gum tissue and bones supporting teeth. Prosthodontics (3 years) - Restoration or replacing missing teeth or oral structures with artificial devices (dentures, bridges, crown). Forensic Dentistry (4-8 years) - Handles, examines, and evaluates dental evidence for presentation in legal contexts.
