( September to December 2023) Introduction An overview and analysis of the various school activities carried out throughout the year is presented in this narrative report. The objective is to assess the effectiveness, participation and outcomes of these activities. Pinugay Branch celebrate Buwan Ng Wika, the national language month, it is celebrated as an encouragement to promote the traditional Filipino language and culture. All the students as well as the teachers are wearing pinoy clothes. Mr. John Mark Vallentos, a SBO adviser with the SBO officers were assigned to plan the said activity for the month of September. It was organized by decorating the venue where the event will be held, making sash and props for the event and calling the participants from different grade level in the afternoon for practice. Mr. Vallentos also assigned each officers to their designated area to make the program flow smoothly. The theme on the said event was ”Filipino at Mga Katutubong Wika: Wika ng Kapayapaan, Seguridad, at Inklusibong Pagpapatupad ng Katarungang Panlipunan” it served as the root of the program to awaken the awareness of the minds of the students.
There were competition in Slogan, Impromptu, Katutubong Awit, Katutubong Sayaw were the participants are from high school students. And for the Poster Making, all of the students of SACS Pinugay are the participant. There was also a competition in Lakan and Lakambini from Elem. department to High school department. Where candidates wearing strong and fierce awra while walking on the stage wearing theirs kasuotang pinoy. Competition was intense in every contest. Each participant tried to win the first place and certificates of participation were also given to each winner and participant. The program ended with everyone happy, especially the children. The importance of the Filipino Language and Indigenous languages was explained to them. They were also made to understand that our language should be loved with all our hearts, not only in words but also in deeds. TEACHER’S DAY Last October 06 2023, the students of Shepherd Angels Christian School of Antipolo, INC. Pinugay Branch celebrated Teacher’s Day to acknowledge the teacher’s effort to their students. The event was started by the praise and worship team, and an opening prayer by our SBO Grade 12 Representative Ms. Princess Marnel Ramiso, followed by the National Anthem conducted by our SBO P.R.O Ms. Jamilla Lubiano, And for our Opening Remarks by our SBO President Mr. Lauro Barrientos. The teacher’s were given the chance to have their “Rampa” infront of their students and gave the students their production number. The event was continued by the heart warming messages of the students to their teachers. After the messages, the students from Grade 10 Ms. Ahley Garcia and Grade 9 student Ms. Timothea Limbao gave a special number (dance) in front of the students. Then, the teachers are given an award by our former OIC Mrs. Mary Joy Delmar. The event proceeded with a game of charades (Students & Teachers) and Trip to Jerusalem (Teachers) to make more memories with the teachers. The student from Grade 12, Mr. John Paulo Olbedo gave a song as a tribute to the teachers (salamat by yeng constantino) and closing remarks of our SBO President Mr. Lauro Barrientos and closing Prayer by our Vice-President Mr. Clint Gerdal Ramiso. MOVIE MARATHON (AP) Last October 12 2023, the School held a movie marathon featuring “Goyo and batang hineral” and “Juan Luna” as to be recognized by the students on how our national heroes fight for our country. Funds for preparation/payment ( 5 pesos for elementary students and 10 pesos for high school students). Food stall FUNDS = 1045 ( foods 685) ( entrance 360). The Funds were put to use as the SBO’s uniform.
