  • Our topic for today is all about Fitness and Nutrition E. Lesson Proper Fitness is an overall term, which defined as a capacity of an individual who has enough energy to do his daily task without fatigue, and has energy reserved in use of emergencies. Health-Related Physical Fitness (HRF) is the component of fitness associated with good health “Why physical fitness important in relation to health?" Physical Fitness is significant to health because it reduces the risk of health-related illness. With the absence of illness, you’ll be able to do your daily activities. There are five (5) components of health- related fitness also known as health components.  Cardiovascular Endurance  Muscular Strength  Muscular Endurance  Flexibility  Body Composition They are exercising and different foods also sir. Sir, the photo is all about exercise and nutritious foods. Answer Varies

our body to become healthy and stay alive. Health problems can be prevented and lessened through healthful diet. Now, what is the relationship between nutrition and exercise?

  • In providing our body with sufficient fuel through proper nutrition with regular exercise, we improve our capacity to perform. Healthful food intake and regular exercise are important for performance. A healthful carb intake will provide you with consistent energy, while proteins will help support muscle development and repair. So, exercise and nutrition work hand in hand for an improved physical performance. Do you understand students? F. Drill/Activities Class I will group you into five (5) groups. Each group will choose one of the five components of health related fitness then your task is to perform at least 3 exercises under your assigned fitness component. You only given 5 minutes to prepare. Here is the scoring rubric. CRITERIA Proficient (3) Developing (2) Beginner (1) Performance Proper Exercise Relevant to the Content Teamwork G. Application Write down the daily activities in the box on the left, and then write which health-related component is involved on the right.
