1. Tukoy-Alam Pag-usapan sa klase ang karanasan nilang tumira sa baryo. Hayaang magkwento ang mga mag-aaral ng kanilang sariling karanasan tungkol dito.

2. Pagganyak  Magpakita ng larawan ng lungsod at baryo.  Itanong kung ano ang nakikita nila sa larawan.  Pag-usapan ang pagkakaiba ng dalawang lugar. **KRA 1, Objective 2: Used a range of teaching strategies that enhance learner achievement in literacy and numeracy skills. (PPST 1.4.2)

  1. Pagpapayaman ng Talasalitaan** Ipabasa at ipaliwanag ang kahulugan ng mga bagong salita ayon sa palantandaang nagbibigay ng kahulugan. a. Ang puno ng mangga ay hitik sa bunga kaya marami ng mangga ang maibebenta ng aking ama. b. “Malapit na ang araw ng aking kaarawan. Pwede ninyo po ba akong bigyan ng manika?” ang hiling ni Ana sa kanyang nanay. 4. Pagtalakay  Babasahin ng guro ang kwentong “Masayang Bakasyon” na nasa LM pahina 321.  Ipasagot ang mga tanong tungkol sa “Masayang Bakasyon” na nasa Sagutin Natin sa LM pahina 322.  Talakayin ang mga detalyeng napakinggan sa kwento.  Bigyaang diin ang mga tanong na nasa bilang 5 at 6 upang mapalawak ang kaalaman ng mag-aaral sa pagtukoy sa mga di- pamilyar na mga salita na gagamitin ang mga pananda upang malaman ang mga kahulugan. **KRA 1, Objective 1: Applied knowledge of content within and across curriculum teaching areas. (PPST 1.1.2)
  2. Pagpapahalaga** Ano ang dapat gawin upang mapangalagaan ang kapaligiran? KRA 2, Objective 6. Used differentiated, developmentally appropriate learning experiences to address learners’ gender, needs, strengths, interests, and experiences. (PPST 3.1.2) Gawaing Pagpapayaman  Ipasagot ang Gawin Natin sa LM pahina 322 KRA 2, Objective 5: Managed learner behavior constructively by applying positive and non-violent discipline to ensure learning focused environments. (PPST 2.6.2) KRA 2, Objective 6. Used differentiated, developmentally appropriate learning experiences to address learners’ gender, needs, strengths, interests, and experiences. (PPST 3.1.2)  Magbibigay ng mga pagpapaalala at alituntunin bago hatiin ang mga bata at bigyan ng pangkatang gawain. Ipaliwanag kung ano ang kanilang gagawin.
