Immediately preceded to reorganize the province with partisan lines. The Talisay in Batangas by magdalo faction, and Nasugbu tuwi and look in Cavite by magdiwang faction. The both factions attempt to make their respective armies wear the same uniform however because the rebels had no means to buy the uniform the plan didn’t happened. When Cavite happen to rose in revolt led by the other faction the magdiwang, two factions got into disputes, desire to Lord over the said place. Believing that both sides contribute to the winning streak of cavite against Spanish. Magdiwang believe that because they started the revolution they have the right to the authority but Magdalo believe that because they were more stronger thus they were more fitted to rule over. Because of this very own conflict, the rebels got defeated by the hands of Polavieja. Because of this dispute a magdiwang delegate was sent over to Supremo or Bonifacio to meditate the situation. Because of this frequent contact on the side of magdiwang and Bonifacio, the Magdalo feels that Bonifacio was siding to magdiwang. Because of misunderstanding between two faction, Polavieja’s counter offensive led to the fall of several towns held by the rebels. Thus by realizing that only if two faction is unite, the situation could be remedied. Ultimately, the question of leadership arose. Kaya nagpatawag ng pagpupulong ang dalawang kampo. Dumating si Bonifacio, umupo siya sa center chair, then he call the magdiwang minister to sit at his right side, which Magdalo seen as partiality in the camp of magdiwang, which dapat, Bonifacio should be seen as objective and not bias. At that time general Emilio was in favored at Edilberto Evangelista as president because he is the most educated, which was already known by Bonifacio, which saddens him. The first convention was adjourned without any result because one wants new establishment of government while magdiwang don’t want because there’s already a government, thus resulting of one’s dismay for there is no uniform thoughts. The second convention which the situation on both camp didn’t eased. Jacinto lambreras the president of magdiwang took the chair and opened the convention. At this time Bonifacio agreed upon the request of the Magdalo to establish a new government, the republic of the Philippines. Before the juncture where Bonifacio agreed, they argued on the flag of Katipunan where some of them don’t agree that k, is the representation of Katipunan, embodied the ideals of being revolutionist as being liberal. That this what symbolizes that the government of the association of the sons of the people is Republican in form. Before the election took place, Bonifacio said that whoever would be elected should be recognized and respected regardless of social status and education. Nine officers were to be elected namely, president, vice- president, captain general, director of war, director of interior, director of state, director of finance, director of fomento and director of justice. In the end, the election nearly end with bloody affair, a Magdalo man came to disagree to the position of director of interior who won by Alvarez. Danilo tirona said that Jose del Rosario was much more deserving than Alvarez because he had the diploma of being a lawyer thus much more fitting. And the end no one agree but Bonifacio felt insulted because it was already agreed upon that whoever would be elected regardless should be recognized and respected. Because of this reason, in a flash of anger he whipped out his pistol to fire but ricarte grabbed his hand thus preventing what might happen. Bonifacio before leaving cried out, “ I, as chairman of this assembly, and as president of the supreme council of the Katipunan, as all of you do not deny,
declare this assembly dissolved, and I annul all that has been approved and resolved. “ with this, he left the hall, followed by his men.
