IV. Project Summary (Abstract of the Project)

Garbage are main factors that pollutes the environment. A

simple and small piece of plastic deals with a great problem.

One of the problem in the Bangga Boulevard lane in Brgy.

Mambulac is the lack of awareness on proper waste disposal,

which could affect the current living of the residents on that

specific area.

The project CPR Is a community based project that aims to

promote environmental awareness and concerns on the chosen

community. The duration of this project will be 3 days which

includes planning, preparation, and the implementation of the

project.

Background

Barangay Catabla is one of the largest barangay in

Talisay City, with a population of 6,587. One of The

sources of income or living of this Barangay is

seafoods as it is residing near the seashore. But one

of the major problems of this community is the pile

of garbage that can affect their sources.

A. PROJECT BACKGROUND

  • The main idea of this project is to give priority to proper waste

management through educating people on a certain area about

the importance of implementing a proper waste management.

Lack of awareness on proper waste management is a common

environmental issue that needs a solution.

  • The project is made to avoid contamination of the Brgy. It is not

intended only for personal purposes but also for the benefits of

the families living there because improper dumping of garbage

pose a serious risk to the health of the people and the

environment.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

● In order to reduce the amount of waste

into the roadside or gutter, it is best to

implement an awareness activity on

proper waste management.

● This project also aims to reduce the

possibility of improperly disposing trash.

In which, it will have three phases: (1)

preparation, (2) implementation, and (3)

post-implementation.

B. 1 PROJECT OBJECTIVES

SPECIFIC
  1. Reducing waste.
  2. Having a clean and healthy environment in

Bangga Boulevard lane.

  1. Promote execution of proper waste management

on the said area.

V. METHODOLOGY

With the implementation of CPR :

CLEAN, PROTECT ,AND RESTORE

project, there are certain actions that

need to be done:

  1. Planning.
  2. Coordination with the people on the chosen

area.

  1. Implementation of the project.

OUTCOME EXPECTANCY

After conducting this project, it is expected that

the canals will be without any trash. With the

additional trash bins being put, we envisioned a

lesser, if not completely zero improperly

disposed trash. We also expect the students,

residents, and other people who joined this

project to be more aware of the harmful effects

of trash, start practicing proper waste disposal,

and become an active volunteer of activities like

this.
