Online Safety, Security, Ethics, and Etiquette (OSSEE) To be a responsible netizen, you must know the basic online safety, security, ethics, and etiquette.

Online Safety, Security, Ethics, and Etiquette (OSSEE) Ethics – refers to a person’s behavior when interacting with other netizens or while online. One must watch himself when interacting online. Etiquette – unspoken rules when communicating and working through the internet.

Etiquette

  • Think before you click.
  • Do not waste the time of others.
  • Do not send messages that can ne threatening and hurtful.
  • Respect others right to privacy.

On the next slides, I will give different scenarios and let’s check if they follow the internet etiquette.
