As it is my first year at the university, I think this question is excellent because it allows
me to see what I have learned from this experience and the accomplishment that I have
achieved. When the semester started, I was a bit anxious and worried, maybe because I am a
recent student in Canada, which means I have never experienced interacting with a Canadian
student. Also, I was stressed about the English side as I am not a professional English speaker,
so I thought that I might be in a situation where sometimes it would be hard for me to deliver
my point to the other person or my group team. In this course, we had to work as a team on a
presentation project. Firstly, I was concerned about whom am I going to work with and if we
would collaborate. Since high school, I have never worked in a collaboration group; therefore, I
always end up doing most of the work by myself. That bothers me a lot, but I have never
complained because we never know what others are going through; nevertheless, this time was
different as the group member I have worked with were exclusively collaborating and punctual.
My strength was in finding reliable scholarly sources besides writing skills; however, one of my
weaknesses is grammar and sentence structure. My group team utilized their strength in
reviewing the article and correcting any Grammarly or sentence structure mistakes. As well as
their excellent work performance. For example, they will answer any of my questions as soon as
they receive the message, and the were prices with the deadline timing. Moreover, they were
so respectful and understandable. In short, I had such a great experience working with my
group as it taught me that together we could do much more than being alone.
