Weigh raw materials*
Mix PVP with water until
completely dissolved (Solution A)
Mix KC with water until uniform
paste (Solution B)
Mix A and B
Add PEG, BZC and remaining
water
Heat mixture while stirring
Let sit in warm water bath until
bubbles dissipate
Pour solution into molds
Place spun bonded cloth on top
of the solution
Allow to set at room
temperature
Remove from mold and place
between polyethylene sheets
Package in foil pouch and
vacuum seal
Irradiate
