Acta Diurna, namely the bulletin board ( a type of wall magazine or information board now), is believed to be the first journalistic product: the world’s first press, mass media, or daily newspaper. Julius Caesar is also called the “Father of the world press”. Actually, Caesar only continued and developed the tradtion that emerged at the beginning of the founding of the Roman empire. At the time, by order of the king high priest, all important events were recorded in the Annals, namely blackboards that were hung on the poarch of the house. The note on the blackboard was a notice to everyone who passed by and needed it. During the competition, Julius Caesar asked that the result of the trial and the activities of the members of the senate be announced every day in the Acta Diurna.
