  1. Review Before we proceed to our next topic let us first have a quick review of our previous lesson. So, what was our previous lesson all about? Yes, thank you! So, last meeting you discuss about properties of integers. Who can remember the 6 properties of integers? Any question about your topic last meeting, class? Are we clear? Okay, very good!
  2. Motivation Before we proceed to our discussion, let’s play a game first. The games called solve the guess the word. (Telling them the mechanics of the game.) Are you all ready? You may now guess the word:
    1. RIFCANOT
    2. MEADICAL
    3. ANGECH
    4. VIEC
    5. RAVSE Based on our activity we had, who can guess what is our topic this afternoon? Exactly, we will discuss about changing fractions to decimals and vice versa.
  3. Developmental Activities (Expected answer.) Last meeting, our topic is all about Properties of Integers. (Students will raise their hands.) The 6 properties of integers are Closure, Associative, Commutative, Distributive, Inverse, and Identity Property. None, ma’am. Yes po, Ma’am. Yes, ma’am. (Students will start guessing.) 1. FRACTION 2. DECIMAL 3. CHANGE 4. VICE 5. VERSA (Expected answer.) I think, our lesson for today is all about Changing fraction to decimals and vice versa.

b. Practice Now, let’s have our first activity. I will divide you into four. This will be the group one, two, three, and four. (Telling them the mechanics.) The following are the problems: Changing fraction to decimal. ( minute only)

Changing Decimal to fraction. (For only 1 minute.)

Did you get it, class? c. Apply “Try Me!” Instructions: Please get ½ crosswise and answer the following individually. I will give you 5 minutes to answer this. Directions: Write F if it is a fraction and D if it is decimal. Then, convert the following decimals to fractions and vice versa. I will give 5 minutes to answer.

(Listen to the mechanics.) (Representative/s will go on the board and start solving.) (Another representative/s will go on the board and start solving.) Yes, ma’am (Start answering.)
