What is Problem

Based Learning?

Orienting learners to the problem PHASE 01

The teacher (consultant) will explain the objectives and

activities to the learners (mother and child).

Objectives and Activities The objectives of this phase include:

  1. Presenting necessary materials and introducing balanced nutrition and

promoting healthy diet, HBS behavior, and

lifestyle.

  1. Facilitating a Q&A session and encouraging opinions from mother.
  2. Holding a discussion on factors that contribute to children's stunted growth and effective ways of addressing this issue. The nutrition consultant will present the following learning objectives:
  3. To enhance understanding of

balanced nutrition, HBS behavior,

healthy diet, and lifestyle.

  1. To recognize the factors that contribute to stunting in children. HBS: Hidup Bersih Sehat

In addition to collaborating with nutrition consultants, mothers have the opportunity to share information with each other in both small and large groups. The goal is for mothers to develop a heightened awareness for instances of stunted growth in other children and to utilize these experiences as a learning opportunity.

Assisting with Investigations PHASE 03

After sharing, mothers must provide detailed explanations for

the factors that lead to stunting in their children.

Developing and Presenting Result PHASE 04

The teacher (consultant) will explain the objectives and

activities to the learners (mother and child).

Mothers will be developing and presenting through implementation in their daily lives, such as practicing a nutritionally balanced and healthy diet and lifestyle.

After progressing through multiple phases, mothers are able to analyze and evaluate the phases they have experienced thus far. This process aids in recalling events that occurred during all phases.
