Amish Values Filipino Values Iranian Values Irish Values Jewish Values  There is a restriction of print or electronic devices to shield them from external influences.  Strongly family oriented and also practices marriage within their family.  They use home-made clothing and women does not use cosmetics or make-ups and jewelry.  They value caring for others especially the ill or elderly. This is called the “amish way”  They value cooperation rather than competition with each other.  They practice passiveness or acceptance of life and contentment.  Pain and suffering are seen as opportunity for growth hence, Filipinos practice acceptance of pain and suffering.  Muslim Filipinos also have the culture of polygamy but mostly are monogamous.  Practices respect or “galang” especially to elders and parents.  Personal pride is emphasized by avoiding conflicts with those in the authority.  They strongly value education because it is seen as the way for a better life. Parents are willing to sacrifice a lot for their child.  Filipinos are very resilient.  They strive for higher education and degrees wherein most of them are highly educated immigrants.  Every Friday, their holy day, they practice the five tenets of Islamic faith.  In the family, the father is the head and the children and wife is to obey him. They are also hierarchal so if the father is absent, the eldest son will take over.  They can do bargaining especially in the market. They term this as “cleverness”.  Art and poetry of Persia are respected by Iranians. This plays  Irish practices respect for elderly whrein their advices are respected as well as their experiences given that they have lived a long life.  They use humor and wit to face difficulties in life.  Irish have strong religious belief, most of them are Roman Catholics.  They also have strong family relationship in which they value large families with many children. They acknowledge their duty and commitment to their family.  Irish embodies education and hard work wherein they  Just like the other cultures, elders, parents, and relatives are respected by Jews.  Orthodox Jews values modesty and humility.  Good health is strongly valued by them that they can abstain from traditional practices just to regain health.  Humor is a way for them to cope in certain situations.  They also value righteousness and sharing. Especially those in need.  They also put emphasis on higher education learning and not only that but also continued learning.
