should be able to:
a. Explain how movement of faults generate
earthquakes using models or illustrations;
b. Differentiate the:
b.1 epicenter of an earthquake from its focus;
b.2 intensity of an earthquake from its magnitude;
b.3 active and inactive faults;
c. Establish a sense of responsibility and preparedness
during an earthquake.
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate the understanding of the
relationship between faults and earthquakes
B. Performance Standards The learners should be able to make a model on how
fault generates earthquakes
C. Learning

Using models or illustrations, explain how movement
along faults generate earthquakes (S8ES-IIa-14)
